The Skater's Edge, LLC is owned and operated by Mike and Nick Brown. Nick Brown operates the shop during the ECHL Hockey Season. Mike begins his eleventh year in professional hockey as a professional hockey equipment manager specializing in equipment repairs and skate sharpening. Mike trained under NHL equipment managers, and now is the Head Equipment Manger for the Charlotte Checkers, of the ECHL. Nick has trained under his dad for many years and is very capable of servicing your needs. The Skater's Edge, LLC guarantees quality service, on-time repairs at affordable prices. We offer professional skate sharpening of hockey, goalie and figure skates. We use only the best quality repair materials and parts in the industry today. We are pleased to announce that we have agreed to a contract to offer the ordering of pro stock equipment and skates at very affordable prices. Please understand that pro stock equipment may take longer once ordered than the time it takes from the Internet, but Internet equipment is mainly retail and pro stock equipment is made different than retail equipment. We can also order youth hockey equipment and skates which is mainly retail. Yes, you can buy from the Internet but are you going to get the service when that sell is not correct, I think NOT, you are just an order number, not a customer!
